Welcome to Greater Johnstown Lodge 538

A Message From the Worshipful Master

Loren W. Hauman, WM

Welcome to the website of Greater Johnstown Lodge 538, Free & Accepted Masons. My name is Loren Hauman. I am the Worshipful Master of the Lodge. Our fraternity is based on values instilled by our ancient ancestors and focuses on community service, brotherhood, charity, friendship and fellowship.

The Johnstown Masonic Temple is located on Valley Pike, near Conemaugh-Memorial Hospital. Our historic temple and lodge room (pictured above) are the pride of our Lodge. Banquet facilities are available with seating available for 300 and 500.

We support many charities such as the Masonic Children's Home and Masonic Retirement Communities, "Help For Our Heroes" Military Outreach, and support blood donation, just to name a few.

Masonic visitors are always welcome at our Lodge. We are excited to have you. Our Stated Meeting is the first Thursday of every month at 7:30, with dinner served at 6:30. Our Extra Meetings are on the following Wednesday at 7:30.

For the general public, we have an annual Open House for the general public on the Saturday of Thunder in the Valley. Lunch will be available for purchase. We will also have several dinners scheduled throughout the course of the year where tours will be available.

Thank you for for visiting our website. If you are interested in learning more about Freemasonry in Johnstown. Please contact us. Membership Petitions are available upon request.
